Learning at Home

Does learning at home really work?

A lot of people that are unfamiliar with learning at home ask themselves this question.  Some people don't even know that it's a choice to begin with, yet more and more parents in the US are learning about home education and choosing to take on the task head on.
It is estimated that more than 2,000,000,000 students (YES, 2 MILLION) were home educated in 2008.

                                                                                                              Why?
No one cares about your child's education and future more than you do.   Students and parents around the country are becoming more and more dissatisfied with the quality of education that is being offered and they are desperately looking for options.   Others choose to school at home for safety, comfort, privacy, or schedule conflicts.  Some choose it for multiple reasons --of course, if you are reading this, it's probably because you already fit into one or more of those categories.

                                                                                                       Does it work?
Learning at home has been in use for centuries -- well before any formal educational institutions were born, and has been in continuous practice throughout the world, and it DOES WORK!

Below we provide a brief General Fact Sheet on Home Education from the National Home Education Research Institute.   They address just about every question a parent might have prior to choosing a home education program and show you real statistics.  The results are astonishing.
