What is the Law regarding Homeschooling or Home Education in my state?
If you enroll with MMP Academy or with any other private school with an Umbrella Program, or if you enroll your child in a Home Education Program through a Private School, your child is officially a Florida Private School Student.

If you are Homeschooling on your own - through the public school district - you must check with the Department of Education in your State to make sure you meet their Compulsory Attendance Requirements.

- Kindergarten: Five hundred forty (540) net instructional hours = 3 hrs per day for 180 days.
- Grades 1-3: Seven hundred twenty (720) net instructional hours = 4hrs per day for 180 days.
- Grades 4-12: Nine hundred (900) net instructional hours = 5hrs per day for 180 days.
